Curly-haired Bollywood beauty Kangna Ranaut, who recently made her debut in South Indian screens with Dhaam Dhoom (Tamil) followed by Ek Niranjan (Telugu), met with an accident on the sets of Tanu Weds Manu, being directed by Anand Rai with Madhavan in the lead. According to sources, the actress fractured her foot.
The injury has delayed the shooting and dubbing schedules of three of her movies: Once Upon a Time, Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai. She was supposed to dub for Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, followed by Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai, but now, the line-up will have to be changed because she cannot go to the studios.
Sources say that the actress has decided to take a much-needed break and will go to her home town in Himachal Pradesh. "After the accident, Kangna needed some time off. And considering that she hasn’t taken a holiday for a long time, she decided to head home to nurse herself. She wants to spend time with her family and feels that her professional commitments can take a backseat for a while," a source was quoted as saying.
