Salman Khan Biography
Salman Khan is eldest son of Bollywood scriptwriter Salim Khan. He was born on December 1965.
Salman Khan started his acting career in 1988 by doing a supporting role in the movie ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ with Rekha and Farooq Sheikh as the lead actors! Salman Khan bagged a lead role in Rajshri’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989) with debutante Bhagyashree and soon the couple was named as celluloid’s cutest young couple. Also he appeared in Rajshri Production’s another blockbuster Hum Apke Hain Koun where he was casted opposite Madhuri Dixit, this helped him establish as the Barjatya’s ‘ultimate Prem’. His performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Khamoshi’, silenced his critics who had refused to acknowledge his acting skills!
Salman turned 41 in 2006, but he is fit both mentally and physically! "I run and cycle 10 km everyday,” he’s proud of his obvious fitness. It’s like he reads our mind, “I’m fit. Both mentally and physically. My eyesight is intact, heart pumps well and both kidneys are fine!” he says mischievously. Salman Khan is going strong at 41, giving male actors half his age a run for their money with his sexy body and ‘I care a damn’ attitude!
Be it his short hot pants, leather jackets, pierced ears, bald look or bulging biceps, Whatever Salman Khan does, is followed by his admirers, making him one of the most popular fashion icons in the country.
During the years Salman Khan had relationship with many Bollywood beauties.Be it his alleged on-off liaison with girlfriend Katrina Kaif, stormy relationship with Aishwarya Rai or flings with model-actors Somy Ali and Sangita Bijlani. Most of his stunning women have often hogged the limelight only coz they are Sallu’s girlfriends! Ash looked amazing with Salman in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, but the good looking couple soon split-up, after much hype and hoopla, leaving Salman with heartache and various personal allegations, including his short temper. Aishwarya Rai parents lodged a complaint against him, and that was the end of their relationship. Salman Khan - Aishwarya Rai tape created much havoc, and subsequently it was proved to be false tape.
Salman Khan only movie with girlfriend Katrina, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, fared well at the box office, where he also sizzled with the sensational Sush, winning hearts of the audiences with their ‘Just Chills’ and ‘Laga Laga Re’ numbers.
Salman Khan had many legal trouble. Salman was arrested for rash and negligent driving. He was under the influence of alcohol and his car veered onto a sidewalk outside a bakery in Mumbai. One person who was sleeping on the sidewalk died and three others were injured. Also he was arrested for for hunting an endangered species
