Yaana made her big screen debut in the Bollywood movie Dum for the song Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo which made her famous for cameo item numbers. She was named the new face for Lakmé Cosmetics in 2001. She has also appeared in a Kannada movie named Jogi. She played the role of a TV anchor on the countdown show Mirch Masala on Zoom TV where she danced to famous dance numbers.
Yaana recently[when?] signed up with a leading mobile and PC games company Indiagames as brand ambassador and will be featured in several interesting games and applications related to fitness, puzzles etc. Yaana has featured on the Dr Zeus album Back Unda Da Influence, which was released in 2007. She also appeared in the item numbers: "Oh! What A Babe" in the film Rakht, "Aakalesthe" in the film Shankardada Zindabad.
