10. No One Killed Jessica
After the success of Dil Chahta Hai, Farhan Akhtar once again decided to make a movie of three friends and this time he choose his sister Zoya Akhtar as director and Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and himself in the main leads. This film tells the story of three friends and their adventurous road trip to Spain. Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin are female leads of this film. This was hugely successful both critically and commercially.
Emraan Hashmi once again delivered his magic and this time he was paired with the hottie Jacqueline Fernandes in Murder 2. Murder 2 is directed by Mohit Suri and tells the story of corrupt cop Arjun Bhagwat played by Emraan Hashmi who is given a task by a local goon to investigate the disappearances of his hookers. This movie was a huge success both critically and commercially.
Ready is an action comedy film starring the current King Khan Salman Khan, Asin, Mahesh Manjrekar and Paresh Rawal along with the other supporting cast. Salman’s magic once again entertained the public and despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics, this film was a massive success in the box office and audiences gave this film 5 out of 5 stars.
Singham is an action packed film of an officer Bajirao Singham played by Ajay Devgn who is an honest and brave cop. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead of this film. At the time of its release Singham peaked at the box-office with earth shattering business and was overwhelmingly applauded by the critics and audiences. Rohit Shetty who is famously known as the director of Golmaal Film Series directed this movie.
Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan joins forces and with their perfect onscreen acting delivered one of the best film of 2011. This film was moderately successful in the box office and the critics applauded this film by giving 4 out of 5 stars. This film was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
9. Dhobi Ghaat
Dhobi Ghaat was another surprise hit of this year. This film was directed by Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao and stars Prateik Babbar, Monica Dogra and Aamir Khan in brief roles. This film was moderately successful in the box office but it received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics and audiences.

Tanu Weds Manu was a surprise hit this year that stars R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. This film is a typical Hindi romantic film featuring typical Indian Culture. This film was a huge success in the box office and critics and audiences both hailed the film as one of the best film of 2011. This film is directed by Anand L. Rai

Imran Khan starrer Delhi Belly is an adult comedy film directed by Abhinay Deo. This film is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Delhi Belly became a huge hit both critically and commercially because of its different theme and slang dialogues.
6. Buddah…. Hoga Terra Baap
Buddah…. Hoga Terra Baap is a comedy action film starring Amitabh Bacchan in the lead role and Sonu Sood, Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon , Prakash Raj and Sonal Chauhan in the supporting roles. This film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and centers on the hitman Vijju Malhotra played by Amitabh Bacchan. This film met with great success in the box office and was also well received by the critics.
5. Yamla Pagla Deewana
The Deol family reunites in this movie. First time ever the three Deols, who are best known for their action films plays the hilarious comic roles in this film.
