Aruna Shield
Aruna Shield is of Anglo Indian decent (Scottish/English/Indian) begun her education at a convent school before winning an academic scholarship to attend boarding school. Since childhood, she was always inclined towards acting. Aruna Shield has no family connection with celebrity world. She went onto gain a distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She also obtained a degree from Central St Martins, London. Aruna’s passion lay in performance and while at a theatrical workshop she was spotted by an acting agent. She then trained with celebrity acting coach Howard Fine in LA. Her pencil-thin figure and charismatic face wowed the audience as well as the critics.
Aruna’s earlier work includes touring in theatre for over a year. Lead Neera in art-house film Mr. Singh/Mrs.Mehta. Various other leads in Independent and feature films. Most impressive credit on her resume must be her appearance as a dream girl in Sacha Baron Cohen’s Ali G Indahouse.

Shields is evidently quite open to skin-shows, and we’ve heard there’s much heat shared between her and Vivek on-screen in the upcoming actioner during the shooting of Prince. Aruna Shields did a two-piece shot in her very first Hindi movie. Aruna Shields is a bold girl who loves challenging roles. She has stated that she is open to expose if the story demands. Aruna Shields performs all her own stunts: free falls, gymnastic flips, gliding…even motor-bike bungee jumps!
Aruna’s earlier work includes touring in theatre tour for over a year. Leads in experimental and feature films like Mission Improbable, Private Moments, Violent Lesson, and underwater film Bait. In Private moments she did a bold scene which became very popular.
